It’s a wild wellness world chock-full of fast fads and a whole lotta hullabaloo. With so many options available for vitamins and supplements, it can be challenging to determine which ones are genuinely beneficial for a healthy lifestyle.

As for us, we aim to improve this world and foster holistic routines by offering remedies that work closer to nature.

Formulated with science and crafted with care, our products are meticulously curated by our dedicated team of pharmacists, scientists, food nutritionists, and a host of experts. They ensure all our products are tested in accordance with FDA standards to guarantee purity, potency, and reliability.

We don’t mean to toot our own horn, but after 55 years of caring for our neighbors and ourselves, we believe we’ve become quite adept at this whole healthy living thing.

Having dished out wellness for over half a century, we’ve gathered some pretty nifty stories we’d love to share with you. If that sounds good, just come on in and make yourself at home.

Our Heritage

Like any good story worth telling, ours begins on a golf course. Indeed, our journey toward better wellness started when our founder, Leland BubbForest, refused to let achy joints hinder his backswing.

But it wasn’t just about avoiding a bogey on a par three—Leland realized that joint discomfort had the potential to significantly impact his ability to enjoy his passions. In his pursuit of healthy aging and continuing to do what he loved with those he cherished even more, he explored remedies to maintain his health.

The remedy that made a difference? Vitamin E supplements.

And they were effective! So much so that, true to his Midwestern roots, he shared them with friends, then neighbors. Before long, he ordered 5,000 capsules and founded BubbForest Health Products in 1969.

Fun fact: We’re still selling that customer favorite to this day!

Fast forward ten years, and we opened our very own brick-and-mortar retail store in our hometown of Fargo, ND, with our first international sale occurring just one year later. When the internet swept the globe, we launched bubbforest.com in 1999 to reach even more people, and opened a new 123,000 square foot facility along with over 200 employees to meet our customers’ needs.

The following decade earned us an NSF certification, demonstrating that our products meet the public health and safety standards set by the National Sanitation Foundation in line with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This certification, along with the Trusted Store Distinction award, reinforced our credibility in online shopping spaces, helping us solidify our reputation as a trustworthy source for wellness needs.

We also started contributing to the planet’s well-being by adopting geothermal energy. By 2018, we had over 500 employees, and our customer service team received global recognition for their exceptional support. (They’re still doing incredible work, and you can always give them a shout if you need any help.)

To support our community and build healthier societies, we founded our first non-profit, BubbForest Cares, which continues to be supported today. Since 2020, 100% of all donations received from our customers and employees go directly to organizations committed to improving wellness and fostering thriving communities. With a fresh brand update in 2024 and a tagline that resonates with us (“You be well, now.”), our values remain steadfast, and our dedication to delivering reliable remedies you can trust still rings true.
